They are Peugeot folk. Not used them but my brothers wife
Used to use them when she had Peugeots.
There used to be a guy in Carlisle who I think was called David Edgar. He did citroens. He declined to work on a electrical fault on my facelift c5. But he may do the suspension.
I cannot find him online but he was on Brough road industrial estate.
I've found Edgar's garage on Google. I'll give a ring today as he's only 30mins away.

The brake light doesn't matter too much as long as it doesn't fail it's mot for it.

Does the brake light go off eventually? Like is it off in the morning if you don't wake the car up but have a look. I think mine used to go off one the car went to sleep (if you watch the speedo eventually etc they whir and move about and stop.

Yeah that's exactly what my C5 brake light is like. I've had a good drive round brough ind estate and couldn't find him. Citroen dealer wants £500 to do both rear bearings as I suspect the first one that has been put in is dry. Trying to weigh up to if I should trade in early so wait till November like I was planning.

I had the central brake light glow twice. Both times the reason was a blown bulb in one of the side brake lights. Hope this is your case too, Mdon.
BTW if you plan to say goodbye to the car, why do you care about the bearrings?
I've just replaced them and they've been 'talking to us' (my kids called it so) for about 10k kilometres. The job was just a replacement, the surfaces around the bearings were not damaged by those squeking bearings, good news, I was anticipating more costs. Maybe they could cause more damage, but here, I was nicely surprised.
Personally, I would go for a 4x4 if I loved them, but definitely if I had a back problem. I find my C5 really comfy to get in/out (193cm tall).
For goodness sake, 4x4 rav4?
I was thinking a lot about getting a terrano 2.7, mostly beacause of the bulletproof engine, the same as the fairway driver taxi, but finally found a nice xant v6, no dillemma here of course.

Well, at a cost of £318 the passenger side bearing has been replaced at the Citroen dealership. They told me there's a little bit of damage to the trailing arm from it but it was 50/50 to replace it or not. I decided not too. They said there was a little bit of damage on the edge that the seal goes against so water could possibly get it and rot the bearing. They said I might get 5 or 6 years out of it or I might get 1. Either way I'm happy to see how it goes. Worst case scenario it'll cost £500 for the arm which comes with a bearing anyhow. Recently the car has been running extremely well (touch wood several times) getting 45mpg now as apposed to 39,and its whisper quiet and smooth. Fingers crossed she'll do good for the next 7 or 8 moths then I'll get my 4x4, I've seen a Kia Sorento I really like but can't afford it at the min. Got a leaky roof and a holiday to pay for first.

Dim and reduced-brightness lights are often due to a light fitting's earth connection going missing, and the bulb earths itself through some of the other lamps on the same circuit. Check the third brake light's ground connection, and run another one to chassis if necessary.
