Nemo water from boot lid.

Post by Surf Nemo »

Hi all

This is a first time post with your good selves, so please bare with me. :)
My nemo multispace seems to behave oddly in the rain. When you open the big tailgate water pours out from the sides. It seems to be running out from the top edge of the big piece of trim that runs across the boot lid just below the badge. Not sure if water is just sitting in the seam at the top of the trim or if it is more sinister. Has anyone else had this issue ? I was going to get busy with some clear sealant but thought I would ask first.
Thanks :)

A lot of vehicles do this. The water accumulates in the rubber seals and when you open the tailgate it will run upwards and then back down spurting off from the sides or the top. It does this in the C5 X7 and that's normal - some water will trickle back into the boot as it escapes.

If it's more than this, then check your rubber seals to make sure they haven't been split / deformed due to an object being wedged in at some time.
