Greetings from Costa del Sol. 20000 posts - and 30 pages of messages to read since I last visited the forum in November when I drove down here with Xantia and caravan. The weather is just great! The 2.1 performed marvelously doing 31mpg with a ton on tow. Using a route plan taken from M/S Autoroute 2004, I should have covered 1260 miles. In fact the reading was 1325, confirming my idea that the Xantia was reading 5% too high. Diesel, since my last visit in the summer has increased only slightly. It´s now 50p per litre, although I got a fillup in Gib at 35p per litre. Now I must go and take a look at my door hinges!

19,950 of them are about chaning the Xantia clutch cable clip, and the other 50 about Xantia alarms aren't they?[}:)]

Yes! We´ve been enjoying sunshine (most days) since mid-November and we´re here until mid-March. And long-stay costs less than a fiver per night, including lecky. Then it´s home to get three cars through MOT before April´s out. Only thing I miss is the computer.
