Is there such a thing as an X7 with a petrol V6?

I don't think they were sold in the uk. France had them. But we went all petrol is evil diesel will save us so it wasn't released here.
I think it might even have been a jaguar unit rather than the usual Citroen one?

well I never knew
.....but I wonder if a 3ltrTD oiler would be just as good if not better (auto box) tourer car with its low end torque ?
.....A C5 is what it is after all and as such I see very little advantage in a petrol 3ltr.

But as we all know it was more about saving the wallet rather than the planet, diesels being far more poluting and harmful to health than petrols, hence the VW scandal etc.

Why use a Ford unit when they have a perfectly good V6 in the ES family of engines...

Ive looked at C5 X7s for a long while and still yet to see a Petrol V6 in the UK....

The must be a few ES9 powered C6's knocking about though. Good to see Ford bringing in the V8 Mustang.

During the whole production run of the C6 there were only about 10 V6 Petrols ever registered in the UK.

Guess it's a Japan import then if you want a RHD.

How many do you think made it to Japan, if the UK is low on them?

I believe that about 40 C6 3.0 HDis were imported into the UK, and 6 then were snapped up and went to Japan.
