Post by rich201283 »

How many mile will a 2.0 16v petrol Ew10 Engine do and how reliable are they?

I am going to see a van which has 89000 on the clock - Should i be concerned?

I know of one in a 407 with over 200k on the clock and the engine is still good and sweet. 89k is just nicely run in!

Mileage is only one indication. Plenty of cars touching near 200k with mint engines, and you'll happily find 30k ones with no oil changes that are shagged!
