C5: rear ram.

I have ordered the new boot for my O/S rear ram. My grenade pin is free. The large hose clip thing looks re-useable.
Is there a clip at the smaller dia. end of the gaitor? What holds the boot on there and seals it?
The gaitor has always been oily. Jacking up and excess suspension movement has seen it egress fluid occasionally. The suspension stays up ok.
A new gaitor may suffice FTM. I may rebuild cylinder next year. I have fluid, know how to depressure suspension and pressure slightly before start up.
Any more ammunition before I go under?
