After months of unsuccessful searching for a diesel additive ecu for my c5 I came across this

Many parts are compatible between citroen and Peugeot and they both use the same 2.2hdi engine, will this do the job?
Any help is appreciated

It might... there are 3 listed for C5, depending on age: there is only 1 listed for 406. The three for the C5 are:
1525 AS
PARTICLE FILTER EL CTRL BOX
- UNTIL RPO 09491
FOR DPX42
1525 AZ
- SINCE RPO 09492 UNTIL RPO 09869
FOR EOLYS 176 (DPX10)
1525 CZ
- SINCE RPO 09870
Only the 1525 AZ is listed for the 406, although confusingly it says: SINCE RPO 09492 OR UNTIL RPO 09491 !! Which implies it would work on 406s out of the date range, whereas C5s are listed with different ones! Depends on the date of yours - you might be lucky!
