As said, leaking rear cylinder (one on its own does not keep the car up), or failed valve in the pump.

On my C5 estate there is a switch in the boot space that lowers the rear suspension (and then raises it back up to normal height when the boot is closed), but this will only work for a short while (then economy mode kicks in to limit the possibility of the battery being flattened).

All VTR's and Exclusive have/had that switch, Mk1's thru to C5x7's.

Also Auto raise on door close as well I think, which can be a pain when some (-expletive removed-) closes your door half way thru hitching a trailer :)....hitch up by the central controls only.....guess how I know :)......The central control over-rides the boot button.
