Xantia alarm roof sender pannel...x3 types, 2 sizes :)

Post by Stickyfinger »

Mine was broken (clips missing) so I got the one from the S1 donor Activa, yep it is smaller !
so I got the one from the S2V6 car, the same size but no dome.....and the colour is different.

So an switching the cover, drilling the hole for a dome from the original and then will apply the cleanest headlining material.....

Nothing is simple is it :)

Been there, was intending to bodge the slightly manky panel out of the VSX for manual sunroof operation in the green lady. Different electronic modules though both are S1 - the Green Lady's (95) is glued in, the VSX (98) clips in. If it's any help, the manky one is defo among the bits loaded for tomorrow and its electronic unit should there too tho' I didn't notice it. I'd go and look, but it's bound to be the least accessible crate!
