In RHD, all TCT hatchbacks were I think Activas, and all TCT estates were just TCTs.

well I bunged the front end back on (that was fun getting the side bolts back in on on the bumper NOT!) ignored the myriad of other issues my £150 supercar had and took it home from the car club about 15km with it's new 25Afuse. Went a treat with a guzzle of 95 in it, drives quite nicely.

The code start up is a tad annoying, it's not exactly being put to James Bond usage.

thanks for the advice, the owners manual ruined the experience for the prvious owner, printed in late 96, definitely the F7 fuse is listed as a 5A. Weird?

cheers Steven

Not on a TCT it isn't :( The only ECU that does not respond to the 'normal' trick.. The TCT must therefore have a keypad...

Unless you pay megabucks to a clever sod to have the ECU unlocked in a different way...

Yes, it is... Now that is VERY interesting Alasdair... First one I've known... Normally they don't play nicely at all...

I took it off the other day as I both wanted a good one (worn button) and it was a pain starting it as it is left next door and she may wish to move it (garage door protection) at some stage.

It starts fine without, I had the other one ready but it did not need it.....have a look when your next down.
