Intermittent fault

Post by Corina »

I have a Citroen Belingo Multispace Desire 07 reg. For a few months now I have a intermittent fault that the car for a second will jump like its lost power. I at first thought it was some dodgy diesel so changed my petrol station & also serviced it. But it still does it. You could be going a steady 70 mile an hour in the fast lane or be pulling away from traffic light. Its like a big hic up . It only does the once in a row but may happen up to 5 times in a journey or won't for days? No one seems to know what it is as no faults come up. Please does anyone have any ideas.

When was the diesel filter last changed? My C5 X7 did the same when i bought it, it was always under load up hill or accelerating. We cracked open the fuel filter housing and the filter was minging, it looked like it had never been changed. A new filter was fitted and alls good now.
