Post by Harlequin »

heya - scratching my head here - car was fine when I came home from lunch - but when I got back in to go back to work , nothing - dashboard lights came on then everything turned off and nothing.

charged battery but it had a full charge in it.

car is a citroen synergie 1.9 TD.

fuses appear to be all fine (inc engine bay)

Does anything work? Side lights, hazards ie anything that should work with ignition off? If no start at battery, is it showing 12.4v or more. Terminals and clamps, earthing to body etc.

If non ignition bits work then move to having a look at the ignition switch.

Unfortunately this sort if thing requires is logical step by step checking until the fault is found.
