Hello All,
I would like to ask help in case of installing a new keyless remote entry into a 1999 Xsara I but I am faceing with a problem of wiring.
According to the guide information there are 5 diff. kind of wires what should be connected to the original built-in central lock. ( I did not buy the motors)
So there are the following wires:
Green and blue – Negative and positive power supply (reversed polarity)
Brown and white – Signal for the motors (reversed polarity)
Black – ground.
I enclosed a picture about the unit. (Sorry for the lang., I did not find in english). You can see the wiring, schematic.
I also enclosed the wiring of the central system.
What I know is I have to connect the black wire to the 4th point of the 191 unit in the picture, but where should I connect the others? 191 unit is the driver side lock.
According to the wiring there are the following pinouts of the driver side lock:
2,7,4,6,5,9,1,3.
2+7 is power supply for the motor. I think there is no need to add wire from the keyless unit.
4 is the ground. I have to add the black wire.
So I have 6,5,9,1,3 point now. What colors should be connected to these points?
I would be glad if someone could help me. I can not find any "how to" information by days.

Thank you in advance.

on the central protection unit (78), it looks like the relevent pins are:
8 & 14 lock and unlock motors -> Zold & Kek
4 & 17 lock and unlock signal from the drivers door -> Barna & Feher

Re: 1999 Xsara - Keyless remote installation
Somebody told me that I don not have to connect any wires to the motors because its controlled by the central protection unit if the switch is open or close in the driver side lock assembly.
Also mentioned that the 3 pinout of lock close. (wire 6291)
Are you sure about your suggestion?
