xsara hdi, no turbo any more

Hi all, what electrical mess could cause a turbo to stop working? I had a fiddle with the wires today (pulled two of the ECU plugs (the one with three plugs?) out and plugged back in) and wd40'd the earth on top of the gearbox. Put Humpty Dumpty back together again and still no better. I suspect a plug/loom problem since when I played with the n/s plug of the ECU it messed something up worse. Any ideas?

It's sorted. Silly me didn't reconnect the coolant temperature sensor when I replaced the air filter housing.
