I've been massively impressed by my little 107 to be honest. Even keeping the revs down it's perfectly adequate, especially around town. It really does come alive above 3 or 4K though and then will shift far more rapidly than its 998cc suggest. Sounds alarmingly convincingly like a flat six as well. Being gentle though, it will still just thrum away happily and get the job done in a calm, collected fashion with no fanfare. It does reward you though if you let it rev more.
Had it since new in 2009 and aside from a firmware update to solve a stalling issue haven't had to touch the engine save for routine maintenance and a new radiator (which being a plastic fantastic item I guess can be considered a maintenance item).
