I have received a text from Malcolms' family. It reads; "Thank you for message, it is nice to know that you are all thinking of him. If and when he comes off the life support machine we plan to show him all of the messages as he is completely out of it at the moment. If you want I can add you to our update list of how he is getting along". I accepted this offer, and got permission to update the forum.

I hope so. This in an e-mail from Mike;

"I had a text from Malcolm's Daughter saying he'd had a bad night and they'd had to manually ventilate him twice. He's now so unstable the nurses are unable to turn him or move him."

While I am not a religious person I am praying that he pulls through.

Thanks James (and Mike) for the update.

I've never had pleasure of meeting Malcolm but from his posts here, he has always struck me as a resilient person - ooodles of percywotsit and humour in the face of adversity. No doubt this is his greatest challenge to date and long may he remain strong in this fight!

I met Malcolm for the first time at CXM a few years back and found him to be such a down to earth person with a great sense of humour, just the same as we see on here. He is one of the true "helpers" on the forum with a wealth of knowledge and experience that isn't easily beaten.

All round good guy and reading this has saddened me greatly.

Best wishes to his friends and family . I really hope he pulls through.
