Well I had a fiddle (but not adjusted) with the cable, felt down the back etc, all felt smooth and curved, I added a clip/guide with a tie down to the mount on the throttle body to secure the Bowden cable outer...and took her out for a test run.
No problems with the throttle even when booting it, temp holds at 75/80. oil temp fine, no leaks.....BUT, the clock digits just faded out to a blank screen then came back a few mins later, like a dimmer had been applied to it ?.....more fettling to add to the list
