Will have to remember that's been tightened up on...though when the 107 was in the garage a few weeks ago the guy barely had it on the rollers for more than ten seconds...was very much a "yep, they work" check it seemed. Granted, they had road tested it a week prior when it had a wheel bearing done so that may have had something to do with it.

Had the front handbrake problem before on one of my Saabs. Tester looked mortified when I told him. Especially when I pointed out the fact it was holding perfectly on their very steep car park. Later Classic 900s like my current one have it on the back thankfully (as the old front handbrake calipers were a nightmare in many ways).

Yes. I've had both front and rear handbraked C900s. What a complete PITA the front-handbraked calipers were...

Not, I'll have you know, as much as a PITA as adjusting the gear linkage once you'd had the engine out to replace the 'box. It looks oh so very, very easy...

Never got the linkage really properly adjusted on the manual one. Always had a choice of either first or reverse being hard to find I found. Other two have both been autos so I dodged that!
