Berlingo Lexia Question

Post by Northern_Mike »

Hi all,

can anyone tell me which section I go into to change the service interval from 6250 miles to 12500 again, as it was reset by a garage without my approval.

I've seen it in the past - it's in the same area as the cruise control settings etc but I'm damned if we could find it using Hell Razor James' Lexia earlier today.

Also - does anyone know what amperage the small cable to the starter motor might carry, as we need to bodge a new terminal onto it..

cheers
Mike

No idea, under the BSI somewhere?

The starter solenoid shouldn't take much current, I'd have thought a 10A spade would do it.

I'm sure it is, but the BSI doesn't identify itself as BSI at all in my car. I can't recall where I saw it last.

I'll make a short cable up with a spade on one end and a ring on the other, and bolt the two rings together then insulate, to save cutting the loom which is short and tight enough as it is, without me making more of a mess of it :)

I thought the service indicator was in the "Combine" section (AKA clocks).

its not in personal pram iters is it Mike

the starter will be fine with a slandered blue lucar crip terminal, some garage forecourts sell small blister packs of these, unless you have a car accessory shop open on a Sunday local to you

I have loads of connectors of all different types if you want to pop over Mike, plus we could look around in Lexia to sort out the service intervals.
