I all does anyone know if my 2000 2.0 hdi xantia would have been fitted with a radio/cd or a radio/cassette as mine has been removed and a crap thing put in its place, no cd or cassette just a radio that at the moment doesn't work , thanks for any help,

Unless it was an Exclusive it would have been dash mounted tape deck only.
I've got a half decent Kenwood that will play CDs and MP3 discs, complete with wheel control interface, and the dash plate and cover you can have if you want....

Richard W, thanks for that mate, unfortunately or fortunately whichever way you look at it I live in France and cant take up your offer, but I just thought that if it had a radio/cd fitted as standard I might pick one up at a breakers as I am sure they are full of dead xantias,very popular car over here, my 1.9tdi had a cassette player that chewed up a couple of tapes so don't want another one, but thanks for your reply.
