Hi, sorry it's me again as I go through faults on this C3 1.4 8V HDi 2002.
The first inch (maybe less) of pedal travel causes no rev increase at all, which is hard to get used to when trying to pull away.
Is this something that can be put right with the lexia, perhaps a calibration? Does anyone know where I'd find it in the software if so?
Thanks

I wonder if the throttle cable has some slack in it? I have not experienced it myself, but I know others have. You need to locate and then check the throttle body, and the cable to it.

Re: C3 accelerator pedal no reaction first inch travel
No cable on this engine, i dont think there is any way to do it with lexia either, on the petrol models (with motorised throttle unit) you just switch the ignition on wait 15 seconds, slowly push the pedal to the floor & hold it for 10 seconds slowly release the pedal then wait 15 seconds & switch ignition off, Thats it. If the ECU has the option for it you could also try initalising the auto adaptives first.

Re: C3 accelerator pedal no reaction first inch travel
I eventually found an area among the mess of lexia menus where a percentage of current accelerator pedal travel is shown. It doesn't start climbing from 0% until the pedal is pushed down a Centimetre or two. Can't find any option to calibrate it nor anything stating auto-adaptives. I've looked through all menus under all available ECUs but can find nothing.
