NS passenger door 1998 Synergie

Post by zelige »

Will the sliding door innards from a 1996 Synergie fit my 1998 model?

Need handle and latching assembly, and can only find a 1996 version on ebay.

I guess they will but asking to be sure. If not do you know if the latching assembly is the same on Fiats and Peugeots?

My synergie's failed MOT as unable to open NS pass. door from outside.

thanks!

There are two types of exterior handle. One you pull outward, the other you move in the direction you wish to slide the door. The pull outward type is the older one. The older one was much more prone to breaking. All three makes would be the same. I think they changed in 1998. I don't really know about the inner workings but guess they could be different.
Not sure if the expert, dispatch, scudo handles are the same.

Change over occurred at RP 7553. Most of the internal parts seem to be the same so it may well fit.
