i had a diesel leak which thanks to big mac i was able to fix (leaky stop solenoid) but now the engine is very unresponsive the ony thing that is different is that the new solenoid had a little red rubber part on the dowel inside where as the old one did not any ideas
ps it is a 94 xantia diesel cheers charger

Errrm, what happened to the original rubber bit off the first stop solenoid?
Somewhere in side perhaps? Regards Robin

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. Can you fit the old dowel to the new solenoid? Anyway glad you got at least some sort of fix.
