lately mild white smoke will comes out of the exhaust when the rpm is below 10. could anybody suggest what is causing it and how to solve it?

Hi Ian -
First check should be your coolant radiator fluid level - with engine cold & stopped.
Top up if it seems low - but leave approx 3-4" of air down the filler neck.
Leave the filler cap off for next check.
Now start engine & let it idle. Observe the fluid surface down the filler neck.
If air bubbles is constantly coming up to the fluid surface - and gets worse if you speed up the engine - then your engine has a leaking head gasket.
Note that some air bubbles at start of engine is normal - but then after there should be no air.

hi Anders,
sorry to bother you but do you mean just look down into the filler neck where i always check the water level?

If its after starting on a cold damp day before the engine has fully warmed up, it could be condensation. Mine has, just like most cars when cold diesel or petrol, but its not using any water.
