as asked:
I wonder if all you good old mad Citroen chaps who have been bathing in LHM for many years could throw some knowledge/tips my way.
I am looking for some experience/methods/tricks/coatings/plugs for the storage of components from donor cars. .....specif to Citroen mainly.
I naturally will be anal about cleaning before storage but that raises the question about how to ensure contamination/damage does not take place during this process.
All hints and tips with be credited when I publish the Guide to the Activa Ram in the Vogue Swimwear Special

LHM in itself is a good preservative Sticky and personally except for normal cleaning I've never done anything special at all..

Me neither. Just make sure any ports are bunged or the part wrapped over, to prevent dust and dirt getting inside hydraulic components.

If you keep your old (not-too-filthy) LHM, there's no need for bungs. Just immerse the whole component in the green stuff in a jam jar, or whatever.
