ERm which bulb is it

Turn lights not onto full beam but so dash lights up etc

in the main lights at front one bulb is out.

Whats this called please

and easy to replace??

when i turn on main beam both work but the one light is till out...

I think you are referring to the sidelight bulb.

Thats the one the sidelight...

am a complete car novice.

Whats the bulb called please. i.e what do i look for from eurocar parts etc? (Be buggered if am going to halfords)

Why not Halfords,they sell the same bulbs.

501 bulb, dead easy to replace on the MKI. Take headlamp cover off rear of lamp unit by turning 90 degrees, pull sidelight bulb holder out and push fit the replacement bulb, push into sidelight hole and re-install headlamp cover. You can use LED bulbs for brighter sidelights but bear in mind they will only fit one way in the holder because they are polarity specific, standard 501 bulbs will work either way around.

these teh same type of bulbs that light up the dash light where its says "autoamtic windows wiping" etc?

Asking as i replaced the bulbs in there couple o years ago and had a shed load left

Theyre abiut the size of a fingernail on your little finger.

Think the dashbulbs are the tiny ones
