Xsara Picasso problem

Post by AdamC »

Hi there all hope everyone is well I had the throttle cable changed as it was over revving it was fine but now it keeps becoming loose so the car refuses to start until I move the clip to make it tighter I was wondering if I had a clip missing or something it currently has one metal clip in the grooves? Many thanks

Picasso is a 1.6 Petrol forgot to add.

hi and welcome

i cant see how a loose throttle cable could stop it starting,

there is a knack fitting the throttle cables as these days they come in kit form and to fit a hole barrage of cit/pug models,

maybe it has not been fitted correctly

were are you located
