Malcolm you area star. Just been on website, they are still listed, (£66.00) I will give him a call tomorrow/Monday just to confirm they are what I want and get one delivered.

Thank you very much for your help.

Yes Lockwoods is probably the best to go with. For the life of me I couldn't find that French site again I think they were listed at 47euros or similar. i did find a German site CX-BASIS.de but they were pricey on there.

OP

Thank you also Demag.

Hopefully I am sorted now. So until the next time, probably not too far away, I bid you adieu. (Is that how you spell it).

Everything is pricey on CX-basis. I can understand though, it's a limited market and so would be difficult to make money as a genuine business otherwise.

Unfortunately the prices on there make some other people advertise their CX spares (of the sort that they will never actually find a buyer for) for an absolute fortune though...
Oh well - enjoy having it sat in your garage taking up space and gathering dust then  (Yep, maybe in 10 years time you might find someone prepared to pay £100 for half a sump, but if you'd prefer that to having £25 in your pocket now, then good luck to you)

Yes please post some piccies John when it's back up and running again. My first Citroen was a Cx. An "N" reg (75?) Cx 2000, one of the early ones, I don't think it had pas either. Some moron in a Maestro rear ended me on the Shrewsbury bypass and wrote it off.

Lol - actually it is just sitting there and probably not worth much in rust, poor thing :(
But not for that reason, no... That one needs a hell of a lot of welding underneath and new doors all round (as well the injectors changing to cure the rough running and mass smoking!).
It's just another one queued on the list...

Don't worry about what I said John, not relevant to the question you were originally asking...
