Re: suspension
Take care under the car, disconnect the ball joint at the roll bar, use that as a leaver....no real force, just wriggle it slowly back to full movement cleaning as you go....the car may move ...CARE!michael1 wrote:thanks sticky i'll give it a spray now and see if that works appreciate your help
IF all is OK, check the main pump fuse under the top fuse box in the engine bay.
I am OFF LINE now

Re: suspension
There is a collection of threads here covering C5 pump/suspension faults that could help diagnose your problem.
My first guess would be damage to the height correction sensor if the pump works for the front.

Great...enjoy the ride, always better to be back in comfort after a good old rattle for a few miles, it lets you know the reason you throw money at themmichael1 wrote:sorted the car it was the 40amp fuse, turned out to be an easy job in the end and saved me a bundle thanks to this page,Thanks sticky for you advice.

For interest, How would you damage the height corrector ?.....so I don't in the future (other than big rocks, Citroen-fustration ect)myglaren wrote:There is a collection of threads here covering C5 pump/suspension faults that could help diagnose your problem.

Re: suspension
There was mention of a damaged one some time ago, caused by a bit of overenthusiastic tinkering IIRC.Stickyfinger wrote:

The usual problem with them is burned tracks or crap ingress.
