Re: Saxo Stalling
Which engine and year is it? Early SPI models used a stepper motor for idle which was prone to going wonky. MPI versions used an ICV which gums up sometimes causing odd issues such as it revving itself!

Ooh a crossover. Post the reg and i'll get on servicebox in the morning and see which you'll need
Genuine bosch one for the spi models was £60ish when i last biught one. The newer one has a ICV that lots of models seem to use so theyre cheaper!

Citroen part number 1920 AH
Best bet before spending anything is take the icv out, its on the back of the inlet manifold held in with two t20 torx screws. Unplug it and make sure the o ring is ok, give it a quick blast of carb cleaner to clear the crud off. On restart it might idle high, the suspected way to reset that is turning the ignition on for about 20 seconds, then off and repeat a few times. Works for me at least
On ebay theres this one
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 97&alt=web" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'll have to have a quick look to see if the 1.1 also uses the water temp sensor to set the idle speed. Is fast idle still ok at 1k?

Yea i'm 100% that they're all the same. At work so can properly check in about an hour if that helps?
servicebox lists two different ICV's for the 1.4, one only has a part number for saxo's, the other for a huge variety of 1.1 and 1.4 models
there is also this one on ebay
