Aperture seal replace
Has anyone tried to replace the aperture on a C5 X7? Do you need any tools, where do you start from, do you have to use silicone or something similar to secure the new one in place?

Re: Weatherstrip replace
Shoot me, but, what is a weatherstrip? I'd like to believe I have it on my car as well, but probably know it under another name ... ...

Re: Weatherstrip replace
That's the one but the part that is on the car body. Might be called aperture.

Re: Aperture seal replace
It took about 2 hours but if I had to do it again it would take about one. Front pillar trim took me ages to put back. There must be an easier way.
