C5 Estate 05 Suspension Issue problem.

Post by Rochy101 »

Hello people,
It it with regret I find myself having to pick you brains. My C5 Estate 2005 1.6HDI .
This morning whilst preheating my car I noticed that the gage for the suspension was on amber level and yet I had not moved it. I touched the key pad on the center console to lower it and that was that. I had not noticed if the car lowered its self or not. After driving it meters It felt like a go-cart hard and very responsive until THUD from the back end and i swore we had a puncture got out and rear end lower than normal but it was only a small pothole i had gone over, got back in and pressed the up button the the dial flashes up, the screen above the radio has marked on it raising up but nothing. I turned off the car and removed the key for 30 seconds and then I started off again on the road as I was late. The dial on the right had side of the dash which indicates the level of sys system was like a Christmas tree and warning on the center dash to not exceed 55mph came on. Hell on Earth, WT Flip is it..
No fuses blown as I have checked , but scarerly no pump noise either, But no leaks to the system and only rear in lower position.
As always In your det !!!guys!!!and Dolls!!!

Sounds like the pump is inactive.
Have a dig through this lot and see if anything looks familiar.

If only the rear is affected, it's probably related to the rear height sensor.
Has the 'dogbone' come off?
