C5 connectors are normally under the seats....but I have not dug that deep into my X7 (yet.....)
I un-plugged it again with the car off and the warning no-longer appears, which I almost find more of a concern, surely un-plugging an airbag should raise all kinds of hell on the dash?
BUT this confuses me...you are correct it should not happen unless it is to do with the passenger AirBag/BabySlam thing ....but :?:

When I unplugged the connector in question on my car (driver's seat), immediately with the next key ignition (no engine) the error was up (air bag fault, something, can't remember the exact words) ...

That’s what I need on the plug of the windscreen washer level sensor.
Where can I find the relevant electrical diagram of a C5 Mk I ?

Many thanks for finding this. :)

these are 2.2 Ohm resistors, any good electrical supply store, allows you to test the wires while bypassing the Airbag.

Thanks,

2.2 Ohms is too low for the level sensor, I don’t want to upset the tricky electronics.
There are three pins in the socket and I measure about 6 mega ohms between the two front pins.
I would need to find a circuit diagram to know what pin does what.

I am not a qualified sparky, all I know is I used these to clear the airbag fault light and beeper until I got the plugs re-wired on my facelift Mk1
