c4GP fuse box newer type

Does the newer type of fuse box give same problems as older more expensive type?

No idea... There's not many C4GP on here (mine and yours now by the looks of it.... :-D ). Having said that, ours (2008 1.6 HDi) is giving trouble with the fuse box I believe (handbrake / ESP stops working). I speculated about whether the later board could be fitted, but shied away from doing it (thread) - I have got a 2nd hand one to fit - was going to do it today, but car now covered in 2" of snow... :roll: What age is yours / have you fitted the later board? TBH I doubt this is causing your current problems - change the fuel filter and see where you go - if the pressure regulation fault is still there, then you may need to change the regulator - bit of a trial I imagine on a C4GP #-o
