For a second there I thought it was my old one! Identical except for the number plate! I'm tempted to buy it!

When I sold it, for £475, the electric seats didn't move, the heater blower didn't blow, the rear electric windows didn't work, it had a broken foglight and the horn/airbag slip ring didn't work, nor did the steering wheel controls for the radio.

It did go well though, the gearbox was fine, and it does have MOT until the end of March. It'll probably need a set of discs and pads shortly too.

It got sold to a chap in Yorkshire, another dealer type, who I presume fixed it up. It was then in Car and Classic for a while for £595 (he cannot have made a profit as he had it picked up by a delivery service!) and now it appears to be for sale in Stoke.

I'm tempted to email him and ask him what bits work and what don't...

I've emailed the guy asking him to confirm which bits of it work and which bits of it don't... we'll see what he says. I've let on I used to own it, so he'd better not take the p**s.

It went well, and if most of those issues have been sorted, I'd be interested in buying it back myself as I doubt it will go for much with no paperwork at all. I suspect I have the paperwork in my box of crap where all my paperwork is...

and an extra pair of legs.

That bloody llama wasn't pleased about me taking it's photo and spat at me when I got nearer, much to it's owner's embarrassment.

What condition is your HDi in then?
Not too shabby tbh, currently getting it up to standard, the tensioner pulley needs doing, hydractive 2 sorted, its clean, bit of age scratches and dents, i like it a lot, but i'd much prefer a v6 tbh.

It seems, from.what the (honest) seller told me that many of it's faults still exist, most importantly the seat adjustment which he describes as "at best, intermittent"..

I'll not be buying it.

Ahh, no worries, when I get my tensioner pulley sorted on my HDi, it's probably in much better condition then, I do however suspect there is a hole in the floor somewhere, the rear carpet behind the front passenger seat is damp quite often. I'll have that looked at, but I'm quite growing to like mine, I'd miss the economy if I went for the V6, but I remember my old V6 being a beasty thing!

I've asked if he may swap lol... I may not, but lets see what he says. Do you remember if the hydractive 2 ecu worked the electrovavles as specified?

The suspension all worked, it had the diode mod done, or there was a box wired in from that guy who makes them who's name escapes me at the moment.

It's a solid enough car, just needs some TLC, that's all.

I know who you mean, I can't remember his name either, I'll let you know what they guy says, the only thing that bothers me really is that I would have to ffaff about with the paperwork, but lets see where this takes me.

Interesting that, clever guy clearly knew what he was doing, yet didn't let on it was just a diode that needed replacing lol.
Fair play to him, he saw a need for his product and when for it.
