This one resided in my collection for a while...

It had only covered 58k miles when I sold it. The owner after me was Lexia from this very forum, I'm not sure where it went after that. Good to know that it's still on the road though :)

That is Roy Christies car! He had posts last week. Still think those seats are the best.

I am going to refrain from saying that daft thing of "I wish I still had it".

That's rare, being an S1 with a winter pack... Absolutely lovely :-D Alcantara is very nice but not hard-wearing :(

When I first saw the thread title I immediately thought of this: ECF80..

It never fails to amaze me how things from my early radio engineering days are so firmly implanted in my brain that I unconsciously make a connection like that....

Ive politely been reminded about this car now!!

It was with my Blue V6 the same time when I chose mine. I was offered this one but was put off by the Green colour and the half leather it had..

Anyway, here being driven enthusiaticly on the reprint cover I spotted it on:

As said, nothing exciting. Possibly more pics in the original 1997 Top Gear Magazine article..

Never had a green one!!!

I thought Id only ever have a green one! Everyone else around here had them! Luckilly, I manged to have a Black TD SX, a Grey HDI SX, Another Black TD SX, and a Silver Exclusive HDi, but many a green one passed through and sold on, as well as navy blue, silver, had a Gold one in for breaking due to a side swipe, and Maroone too!

Yes, but some parts of it has gone distinctly low-emission in recent years
