I have this theory that when I wash the car something will break shortly after! Its happened a few times before, so I find it best not to wash it until I actually get filthy getting in & out! And then its a quick once over with a hosebrush....
Mind you I live down a very muddy and potholed track so if I wash it - its minging by the time I pull out of my track. Plus at this time of year with road salt & grit - its filthy after 10 miles anyway, especially if you get stuck behind a lorry or tractor!

That's my excuse, we live in the middle of a farm and have to go along a forest track to reach the road, it not just the mud you pick up in the winter, in the summer it gets covered in dust.

My poor Activa after being used for the Christmas driving a couple of years ago..
and Rattiva II after being used for the same thing..
At the moment both the Berlingo and C5 are utterly grim having covered a combined 1900 miles in the last 9 days between them. 1300 in the Berlingo, 600 in the C5.

Re: dirty cars....
Great to see Rattiva II again. Fond memories
Both my working cars are very mucky. Hard to tell the colour of my C1.
