Hi,
My Xantia service interval will only reset to 6000 miles no matter how long I hold the reset button for. I took the instrument panel out some time ago to replace the bulbs. Could this have upset it? How can I fix it? Thanks.
Regards Graham

Re: Xantia service interval reset only 6000
Are you sure this is wrong? I remember on my previous Xsara, the manual service interval reset was 9900 km, roughly the same as 6000 miles ...

Re: Xantia service interval reset only 6000
Sorry I forgot to add mine is a HDi so it does have 12500 service intervals. I has counted down from 12500 so I can't understand why it won't reset to 12500.

Pretty sure you hold the milage reset button in until 6000 appears (or whatever milage it starts at), then release the button, and press it again and again until it shows the milage you want it to count down from.

On my Hdi The counter starts at 1 the 12 then 125 and then adds the zeros one at a time.
I'm wondering if your clocks have been swapped from a TD or petrol Xantia at some point Graham?

I think 6000 miles is a better mileage for an oil change than 12,000 anyway but if you reset it after 6000 miles, next time it comes up you will be right.
