steering wheel controls unresponsive

Hi All

I have a citroen C4 Vtr 1.6

Last night I noticed a ticking sound while driving while driving. Also, The light on my steering wheel are flashing and the controls on the steering wheel are not working..
:( :( :(

any help or advice would soo appreciated..

That sounds like a COM2000 failure. They can be repaired (there is a guy in Bradford that members have used), but I don't know any more than that.

Moved to a better place...

It does sound like a failure of the stalk unit (most likely the ribbon cable) - it's not in this case a COM2000 though, it's a later one, possibly a COM2005, and I don't think the Bradford guy can repair those. Be prepared for a shock at the price :shock: Post up the last 8 digits of the VIN and we can find a part no and price for it...
