I agree on the wind deflectors. They'll be gone if I buy. I tried the Bluetooth phone connectivity and it works fine with my iPhone. My last car stereo had music streaming over Bluetooth. I'm guessing that the C5 stereo doesn't support that. I noticed a rca to 3.5mm jack in the glove box, but that means your phone is in the glove box. I couldn't see what if any connections there were under the armrest. The storage bin was full of biscuits!

No music streaming, only the latest eMyWay (also known as RT6, RNEG2000) supports that feature ... but, there are BT to RCA adapters and a USB BOX (not only the genuine Citroen one, but i.e. Dension makes good ones, which you can hook up to the RNEG, and have BT music streaming) ... there are some solutions, some better than the others, but solutions nevertheless ... no connections in the armrest, if you pull the L shaped rubber out, you'll see the OBD2 diagnostics connector on top and probably a round hole on the vertical side, for the possible USB jack (but the RNEG doesn't support it) ...

On my local main dealer forecourt...37k miles !

With yours the price to me seems a "little" high for that millage. Is that due to the Euro or is the Republic always more expensive ?
I know a guy who always get their 2nd hand ones here and take them back and re-register them.

With that budget I am surprised you are looking at one with over 60K on the clock esp as you are looking at 30K miles driven per year. ONE clutch change can save you what, 1500e ?, a 50K car will save you half that cost over a 105k car the day you buy it.

Tell me to shut up if you wish :), but there are some very good cars out there at that range.

I know where you're coming from Sticky, but £7000 = €9000ish. Add €2000 VRT and that's my budget all shot to s**t[emoji20].

Definitely the most comfortable car I've ever owned.
The seller only had 1 key and it's rubber is a bit ratty and torn. I'd like to get a new key, but I see from other posts that I will require a security code - don't have one[emoji22].
A local garage will do me a new one for €200 which seems a bit spicy. Are there any other options? Can I get that security code from Citroen with my vin no. ?

You can change the blade and intestines to that from your own key. And if that's too expensive, they're much cheaper if ordered straight from China. :D

You can usually get the code from a dealership, for a small fee (about £10). You will need to take proof of ownership. There are members on the forum who also know who to do this (try looking for The Birdman).

Don't, whatever you do, get a second hand key even if then vendor says it can be re-programmed. While this may be the case with Xantia keys, members have proved this not to be true for the C5 (Ben82 comes to mind).

Thanks Hell Razor. I've ordered a new key fob on Amazon to use with the guts of my old one. That should work.
I'll try a dealer for the code as a second key is a good idea.

It is possible to get a blade cut from a good digital photograph (again, see what Ben82 says), and then, if you have the code and a Lexia, to program the new key to the car. However, if you do this you must do all the keys you have, as (I believe, but I am NOT certain of this) any that are missed are 'forgotten', and I don't know if they can be brought back into play.

You could try these people for your code, they were very cheap and efficient when I needed a radio code.
