EOLYS tank query

Post by Bandit12 »

Hi Guys I hooked up car to lexia to delete the usual error codes and it told me that my EOLYS tank was empty but I have put it a litre only 7000miles ago with a previous litre 5000 miles before that. It says there is 70g of fluid in the tank? Does that equal 70mls? I'm going to order another litre of fluid but I thought 1 litre was good for 10000 miles? Is 70g the correct reading?

I did try to and think I was successful but it was the first time I used lexia. I remember instructions about opening fuel cap then putting in 10 litres of diesel then restarting etc. Is that correct or was I following the wrong instructions? :? I wasn't completely convinced I had done it correctly at the time because it seemed like a lot of things to do in a certain order.

yep...its a bit of a chess game :)....only done it once and I wrote out each step on an index card.

As for how much is gram ?....I will have to ask my dealer for you :)......naaaa, I do not know, maybe one of the experten will chip in now.

btw....step by step on cards is a great tip I got from an Aircraft engine builder, not only do you memorise each step when writing out the cards you don't miss out one once covered in oil and cold *******ks from lying on the ground for so long :)...

In terms of water, 1g is equal to 1ml. (at a specific temperature and pressure)
Eolys will not have the same density as water but will be near enough in real world terms.

Thanks guys and yes I like the idea of writing it down on a card. I'll do that next weekend when my next litre of EOLYS arrives. Final question. Is there a reason why dpx42 is no longer available and its all this more generic PAT1 fluid? Don't Citroen make DPX anymore?

Thanks again guys much appreciated :)
