It's kind of ridiculous isn't it. I know we all want to defend Citroen for it's appealing wonkiness but some designs are just sloppy. To counter the C6 love (which I have plenty of), there are a few infuriating weak points: the window thing; no low coolant sensor, the absence of which has led to a few destroyed engines; under-engineered front suspension, especially the lower balljoints (FRIP joints).DickieG wrote:Crikey the DS suffers from this problem, nice to hear that Citroen learns from earlier errorsmyglaren wrote:I found that with the GS. The airstream 'sucked' them outwards and as they were curved they wouldn't slot into the top groove.Jodyone wrote: The front windows have an "interesting" characteristic that if you open then close them at high speed (80+) they don't quite seal properly on the rear edge and are noisy till you slow down again. This is much discussed on the C6 site and there are a few solutions, but it's a common peculiarity.
