removing the rear sphere mounts

Post by gxantia »

Changing radius arm bearing, retaining pin broken, gaitor off, not enough room to remove rod. Need to know how to move rear suspension mount out of way.

It will come out... you might need to remove the sphere to allow you to push the piston right back in, and the R-clip that holds the suspension unit in place to allow it to slop about a bit. Probably worth unclipping the feed pipe too, so you don't wreck it. It does require a lot of wriggling to get the arm in the right position to allow the rod to come out.
