Saxo clutch cable

Post by Singingdave »

Hi I am a newbie, I have a 03 saxo and having big problems replacing the clutch cable, the old one broke at the plastic end that hooked on to the pedal so I took the old one off and have been trying to replace it and I'm stumped it don't want to go through to the hole on the bulk head, I can't see it or feel it, I think it'll be easier if I take the engine out. Any ideas guys and girls. Thanks for reading.

It's easiest to jack the car up and do it from underneath, you can see what you're doing then. Should be a (relatively) straightforward job then. As Malcolm says, check it's the right cable.
