Xantia 98 clutch clip

Driving home on sunday night after a hard days shopping,ping I recognised that sound as the clutch pedal sinks to the floor.Luckily I had a spare clutch cable clip in the boot but after spending many hours changing one before on my 94 Xantia it wasn't a job I was looking forward to. I managed to drive home without a clutch but by then it was dark and really cold.It had to be done as I needed the car to get to work on monday,after removing the trim panel above the pedals I contorted myself under the dash. Something looks different I thought.Incredible, 1 hour and the job was finished including a cuppa and a fag.Must remember to get another spare clip or perhaps one of the metal ones (are they available yet?)
