XM lhm suspension pipe rusted out! Help!

Post by lankytim »

Hi all,

After replacing the front brakes my XM decided to say thanks by springing a leak from the curly thin pipe thats attached to the drivers side of the rear axle. I don't have the facilities to replace it, can anyone do it for me? I'm in Stoke on Trent. Help!

That actually isnt that hard to do. I've done the same pipe on my XM.

Get the bits off and make a new pipe using the right sized jam jar for the coils. It should take about 2 hours all in using jacks.

If you can't make the pipe up contact Martin and see what he can do for you and then shape it at yours
