There will be a sport button between the raise and lower buttons if it is present.
OK, it does not have a sport button like on my Mk2 SX, problem is though with the manual its generic and isn't specific to my exact model. So if I plumb for the comfort spheres is it always necessary to change the regulator spheres too? seem there isn't a comfort version of those anyway?

Cheers.
Unlike previous hydraulic systems there is no accumulator (regulator sphere), only the four corner spheres or in the case of H3+ a front and rear extra sphere that is cut in and out by the sport mode.

Whale like in the corners, esp the ones with undulations in them, I felt it upset the handling.

Right. So mine will only have 4 spheres then, That makes things cheaper then!

Feeling a little confused here by the selection of these spheres http://www.sphere-shop.co.uk/c5-sedan-379-c.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; now, mine is the facelift model on the right but it isn't hydractive 3+ should I therefore be going for the old shape hydractive 3 one on the left? just want to be sure. The nice people at this company sorted it out with the vin.£190 worth of comfort spheres on the way! I bought the sphere tool off ebay too so that should make short work of getting the old ones off?

I already know, I had a set put on my previous C5, but that was an hydractive 3+ so 6 spheres, you can tell the difference but it isn't massive, my exclusive needs em though, it's riding like a horse pulled cart.

Anyone else have a C5 exclusive? The ride on mine seems awfully sports like, not what I expected at all! Took it into MVS for a check over and some bits and bobs done and I asked if he could plug it in and check the suspension and all he reported was that it is what it is? Sounds like something Citroen would say? Would old LDS in the system cause a harsh ride? And is it right that in order to release the pressure on these that you have to tell the suspension ecu to release it? Seems that limits one to only specific garages then that have lexia or autologic! :?

I noticed that there is a menu you can view with a list of activated and deactivated options, non which you can toggle on or off yourself; I had the automatic door locking activated at MVS, but noticed in the list that there is an option to turn on/off sports suspension, even though it reports it is off, it rides as though it is on! Could there be a faulty sensor causing it? And if so where would it/they reside and how can you check it please?

I do not think the SX will have "sports" button/ability, sounds like a sphere to me, have you done the "bounce" test ?.

Hi, no I haven't, but its in Monday for the comfort spheres and an LDS change, so hopefully it won't be so horse and cart'ish?

Had the comfort spheres fitted and according to the technician the LDS that came out was probably the original! No wonder it was harsh, but it rides lovely now. :-D

Bumpy bump, literally thats how this C5R is riding! Only a week or so after fitting comfort spheres the suspension has gone hard again? Is there some electronic chicanery going on here does anyone think? The guy at the garage said he contacted a citroen dealer about it and they say it is designed that way so its more Audi/Merc like!!! What the hell! It's weird though, as it seems cyclical, one day hard as nails and another fairly supple especially the rear end, Thinking of getting some ballast in the boot, maybe a hundred kilo's spread out, plus some soundproofing to get the overall weight up of the car as it is considerably lighter than my old SX. The missus thinks I'm mad going on about it, but if I want a ride like an Audi or Merc i'd buy one of them instead!!!

Mystery be solved! Took it in for it's MOT Saturday and it failed due to LDS fast dripping out of the rear nearside sphere! The garage replaced the seals on the back two and the one that was leaking.... the seal had been rolled and pinched when it was fitted! So, it must have been sucking air in? Rides lovely now.

Well this has turned out to be a right pita! After much to'ing and thro'ing and getting Citroen involved in the end it turned out that the sphereshop had sent out the wrong comfort spheres!!! They sent the sports version! #-o After much discussion with the nice fella at I.F.H.S they got the sphereshop to send me out the correct set for free, so having them fitted Monday and hopefully I will be able to put this whole sorry and expensive saga behind me.
