Nice to hear a success story, I'm surprised that the sphere was that loose, I would think it must have been off recently. That's a good tool that chap makes, wish I had got one for the XMs, it would have made the job a lot easier.

Peter, forgot to mention that I'd already cracked them loose. I had a bit of a faff as I've loaned out my large ramps, meaning I had to use axle stands and jacks for the rear spheres. All in all I think it went easier than changing spheres on my previous Xantia's.Peter.N. wrote:Nice to hear a success story, I'm surprised that the sphere was that loose, I would think it must have been off recently. The LDS fluid looked nice and clean although I didnt reuse any of the fluid lost during the sphere change. We'll see how long the GSF spheres last, are these constructed differently than the Lizarte ones?

It's not a nightmare job to be honest I'd go for it if I were you.
The spheres from sphereshop sound to be very good also.

luckily I have access to a ramp as work at garage so makes it easier. Will make a decision next week and order all 6 and the tool!!!
The car feels jittery over the slightest imperfections in the road so this is what's making thinking of changing them. Its feels like the wheel has a flat spot in but is has not, on the bounce test the front does push down a few inches or so and bounces back to normal.
