9999 km to be exact ... :D ... I'll post mine today, just to take a photo ... but, the data is slightly inaccurate, since I've had to to a BSI firmware upgrade, and I've lost about 3/4 of the total trip until last September till today, and the mpg will be worse on display than in reality ...

Here's my current readout ... mind you, BSI was reset, so I lost about 4000 miles of data ... before the reset, I had the mpg ratio approx. 43.5 ... considering I mostly do 10-15 miles of city driving per day, that's not bad at all ...

Xantia 2.1 TD (98) @ 41 mpg mostly short trips under 10 miles through town. Happy enough with the MPG... Road Tax  is a massive expense considering we only do about 5,000 miles a year

I really miss my 2nd hand AX 1.4 D Echo 'Martini' 60 MPG and at the time I was running on a mix of diesel/veg oil (new) and getting a fuel allowance from work so after 4 years the car was a freebie having totally paid for itself including insurance/tax/repairs/fuels =D> RIP :luv:

Which is exactly what I do every refill actually (for years), but since the car computer counts the miles (km) passed, and knows how many gallons (litres) have passed by, I guess it can't fail in a simple math division operation to get the total average (which is correct in my case, compared to my math)... approximates for the remaining tank are a different matter however and usually linked with the weight of a drivers foot ... :D ...

Well, I can't help myself ... still, consumes less than my previous Xsara 1.9 TD, with 70 HP more ... so, I'm still a happy camper ... :D

1995 ZX 1.9D - 5-Door – Manual

Bought 31/01/2009 at 98678 miles.

Injectors serviced at 139241 miles on 22/06 2012. Av mpg up to then 54.56.

Mileage today 164469. Since injector servicing, av mpg 56.69.

The above figures are from a spreadsheet I keep.

Usage is mainly country roads – shopping, etc, but on bigger roads I ‘make progress’ as the saying goes. Happily, I live in France at the mo’ where ‘gazole’ is the equivalent of about £1.02 per litre – and no road tax either. 8-)
