1990 Citroen AX Brake issue..

Post by Rochy101 »

Your advise and help is needed again one and all .
I have a 1990 Ax 1.0ltr Kway. It had been sitting for a while and I need to move it its two yr C.t (MOT). The rear brakes seized on so the usual tap with a hammer job,I know i need to change the front brakes and moved the car to the garage but the break pedal went straight to the floor and never returned.I changed the brakes this morning and bleed the calipers as normal. Engine off breaks rock hard,Engine on straight to the floor and don't return. Is this the master cylinder or some thing else. Thanks for you help in advance.

the first thing i would check and lubricate is all the remote linkage that runs across the engine bay side of the bulkhead, between the pedal and servo
